About my Other Honda

This is a '95 Honda Z50....my son and I built the "conversion" kit about 6 or 7 years ago during the big chopper craze.

It was a fun project, it turned out really well for what we were trying to do. We just wanted to see if we could convert his Z50 without damaging the original bike (because we knew we wanted to return it to stock).

The rear frame attaches to the original swingarm mounting point on the bottom and the shock mounts on the top. the rear fender/side plates and the seat are removed and the new seat bolts to existing holes in the frame. And the extended fork tubes replace the originals...no damage to the original bike at all.

We put allot of work in the rear frame but the fork tubes are just some scrap that we had laying around the garage. It worked just fine but better quality tubing should have been used if the bike would be ridden in this configuration for very long.

The fun part was building this bike...after we got it to the point shown in the photo we returned the bike to stock and that's how it remains to this day.
